LOUDONVILLE – The Siena College women’s lacrosse program announced Friday the addition of sophomore Hannah Field, a Watervliet native and Catholic Central High School graduate.
Field, a transfer from Bryant, will be eligible to play during the 2020 season.
“We’re really excited to welcome Hannah into our Saint family,” Saints head coach Abby Rehfuss said in a press release issued from the school's athletic department. “She’s a fundamentally solid and athletic player who has a relentless work ethic. We’re confident that she’ll be a great addition to our strong defensive unit.”
Field appeared in nine games at Bryant last season, making a pair of starts and recording a caused turnover in a win against LIU Brooklyn. In high school, Field was a three-year varsity lacrosse player and a two-time Colonial Council first-team all-star.
Field's father Rick played football at Siena from 1989 to 1992. As a free safety, he was a captain during the 1991 and 1992 seasons, and earned first-team all-conference honors.
