GLEN - A drunk driver with a child in his car crashed into a vehicle driven by an off-duty sheriff's deputy, Montgomery County sheriff's officials said.

No injuries were reported, officials said.

Charged was Patrick Dahlgren Jr., 35, of Little Falls. He faces one count of felony driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law and was released to appear in court later.

The incident happened just after 6 p.m. Friday at Route 5S and Clark Drive in Glen when Dahlgren failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into the off-duty deputy's personal vehicle, which had been stopped at the intersection, sheriff's officials said.

Dahlgren had an 8-year-old girl as a passenger, officials said.

Responding deputies determined Dahlgren was intoxicated, officials said. His blood-alcohol content tested at 0.16 percent, twice the legal limit to drive, officials said.
