LOUDONVILLE — After leading Siena to back-to-back home wins, sophomore Jalen Pickett was named the MAAC’s men’s basketball player of the week, the league announced Monday.

In double-digit wins against Marist and Quinnipiac, Pickett averaged 18.5 points and eight assists per game, while shooting 58.3% from the field.

For Pickett, the honor is his second of the season and third of his career.

On the season, Pickett is averaging 16 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. No other player in the country averages at least those figures in each of those five statistical categories.
