SCHENECTADY - An early morning fire tore through a Robinson Street home Thursday, causing the roof to collapse, but apparently no injuries.

Four people inside at the time made it out safely, as did three dogs, according to information available at the scene.

The fire broke out just after 2 a.m. at 132 Robinson St.

Schenectady firefighters respond and worked to douse the flames.

Flames could be seen all along the roof at one point and in the top floor. The roof eventually collapsed.
