On this edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” host and Associate Sports Editor Ken Schott talks baseball, the start of spring training and the Houston Astros’ cheating scandal.

ESPN’s Karl Ravech will be on to talk about his interview with Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred and the fallout from that discussion. Karl and I also remember our mutual friend Gregg Mace, who passed away in December. Gregg was the sports director at WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, Pa., where Karl worked in the early 1990s. I knew Gregg while I was working at the York Daily Record.

Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News talks about the Yankees, and Newsday’s Tim Healey comes on to discuss the Mets, plus talk some college hockey.
