LOUDONVILLE — Margo Peterson scored 25 points, and Amari Anthony added 20 as the Siena women’s basketball team defeated Saint Peter’s 71-64 on Saturday at Alumni Recreation Center.

The game was tied 50-50 entering the fourth quarter. The Saints shot well from the field, going 6-for-12, and they made 2 of 4 from 3-point range. Meanwhile, the Peahens struggled, shooting 4-for-20, including 0-for-5 from 3-point range.

Peterson was 8-for-15 from the field and 6-for-7 from the foul line. Anthony was 7-for-12 from the field and 3-for-4 from the foul line. Peterson and Anthony each shot 3-for-6 from 3-point range.

Taiah Thornton led Saint Peter’s with 20 points. Kendrea Williams and Gabrielle Harris chipped in with 13 each.

DURHAM, N.H. — Helena Delaruelle scored her only points of the game on a layup with 1:21 left in the fourth quarter to give the Wildcats a one-point lead, and two free throws by Amanda Torres with two seconds remaining sealed UNH’s America East Conference come-from-behind win over the Great Danes.

UAlbany (5-9 AE, 9-18 overall) had a 22-15 halftime lead.

Helene Haegerstrand made a pair of free throws with 1:45 left gave UAlbany a 53-52 lead. But the Great Danes turned the ball over twice down the stretch.

Torresm Caroline Soucy and Ashley Torres scored 11 points apiece to lead UNH (7-7, 10-16). Maggie Ahearn added 10.

Haegerstrand led UAlbany with 15 points. Alexi Schecter had 11.
