Trump needs 4 more years to fight Dems

Bernie Madoff should not be set free just because he has a bad kidney. He has enough resources to get another one.
Nancy Pelosi made a laughingstock out of the Democrats when she ripped up the speech in front of America. Besides, did she think that was the only copy? At least the president wasn’t afraid of China, Mexico and Canada by placing a tariff on them.
Thanks to him, they are importing more American products. And thanks to him we have a stronger economy. Isn’t it about time the Democrats stop wasting our taxpayers’ money?
They won’t give up on trying to tear him down. I hope he gets the next four years. We need him to stand up against the Democrats.

Pelosi and Romney stand up to Trump

Kudos to Nancy Pelosi and Mitt Romney. They certainly qualify for the Medal of Freedom award, which is given for outstanding achievement.
Nancy, for leading the successful impeachment procedure and Mitt, for his courageous vote to remove an incompetent president from office.
He was probably not the only Republican senator that thought Trump was guilty as charged, but he was the only one honest enough to admit it and I admire him for doing so.
Following the tedious, bragging and lying State of the Union address, the president accused the speaker of breaking the law when she ripped up her copy of his speech (right after he refused to shake her hand).
Guess he has forgotten how he destroyed the only notes that were taken when he and Putin had a one-on-one meeting in Russia.
That was a deliberate and calculated strategy to keep the American people in the dark.
With him, it is always do what I say, not what I do.
His latest peccadillo was firing three people, two for telling the truth under oath after being subpoenaed and one for being a brother to one of them. Time was when “ lying” under oath was a no-no.

Articles get to heart of Trump situation

Your Feb. 17 edition had two articles that did a great job of demonstrating what the current Trump controversy is all about.
Section A article (“Former Justice Dept. lawyers press for Barr to step down”) discussed former Justice Department lawyers asking for Attorney General Barr to step down because he and the president disagreed with the recommended nine-year sentence to Roger Stone because he obstructed a congressional inquiry.
Section C article (“DA: Man fled child pornography charges”) states a city man was sentenced to seven years on child pornography charges that the Schenectady County DA said was one of the more egregious cases of child pornography that has been encountered.
I happen to strongly believe that child pornography is a way more serious crime than obstructing a congressional inquiry.
Apparently, 1,100 former federal prosecutors and Justice Department officials don’t agree.
Wonder if this is because of their inflated sense of self-importance?
