CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Union men's hockey team will get one more chance to score a goal against Yale this season.

RPI will get a chance to catch a breather.

The Dutchmen lost at Harvard 4-1 on Saturday, and after the smoke cleared on tiebreakers, No. 10-seeded Union will travel to New Haven, Connecticut, to play the No. 7 Bulldogs in the best-of-three first round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs next Friday.

The Engineers, meanwhile won their fourth straight to close the regular season, 4-1 at Dartmouth, and moved into the No. 4 seed to get a first-round bye.

Union finished the regular season with five losses and one tie in its last six games to go 5-15-2 in the conference and 7-23-4 overall. Those losses included a 2-0 shutout by Yale at Messa Rink on Dec. 7 and a 5-0 loss at Yale on Jan. 17.

The Dutchmen struck first against Harvard (11-6-5, 13-10-6), as freshman defenseman Dylan Anhorn scored his sixth of the season at 9:37 of the first period.

The Crimson, who are seeded fifth and will play St. Lawrence next weekend, tied it 2:10 later on Reilly Walsh's power-play goal, and Austin Wong and Casey Dornbach made it 3-1 with goals in the second.

Jack Drury scored his 18th goal of the season in the third.

HANOVER, N.H. -- After a scoreless first period, RPI (13-8-1, 17-15-2) erupted for three unanswered goals in the second to take control.

Patrick Polino scored his 11th of the season at 9:33, and Tristan Ashbrook and Todd Burgess scored 28 seconds apart with six minutes left.

Owen Savory continued his breakout season with 37 saves, as the Big Green (10-10-2, 13-12-4) outshot RPI 38-27.
The Engineers haven't had a first-round bye since 2013.

Albany Academy graduate Jake Marrello scored into an empty net at 15:35 of the third for his seventh goal of the season for RPI.
