Executive Chef Michele Hunter of Hamlet & Ghost restaurant competes on Food Network’s “Chopped" tonight, with the episode airing at 9 p.m. Chefs compete against one another on the show.

A watch party has been scheduled starting at 8 p.m. at the 24 Caroline St. establishment, according to the Saratoga County Chamber. The event is free and open to the public, and appetizers will be provided. Chef Hunter, who studied at the Culinary Institute of America, will be on hand.

Hunter graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School and Capital Region BOCES' Culinary Tech Prep program, BOCES said. The prep program allowed Hunter to gain real-world experience and even travel to Austria, officials said.

"She is an excellent chef and was an excellent student," Chef Paul Dolan, who taught Hunter in the Culinary Tech program, said in a statement.

Hunter went on to the Culinary Institute of America and ultimately settled in Saratoga as executive chef at Hamlet & Ghost.
