ALBANY COUNTY - Several of the region's malls are reducing their hours amid the coronavirus threat.

Pyramid Management Group Tuesday announced that beginning Wednesday, hours at both Crossgates Mall and Crossgates Commons would be reduced to 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Aviation Mall in Queensbury will have the same hours.

Normal Crossgates hours during the week are 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Colonie Center, Viaport Rotterdam and Wilton Mall have also announced reduced hours.

Colonie Center's current hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday, according to its webpage.

Viaport Rotterdam announced it's new hours on Facebook Tuesday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 to 6 on Sunday. Aquarium hours are remaining the same.

Wilton Mall has also limited its hours to 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and to 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday, effective Tuesday, officials said.

In a release announcing the Crossgates and Aviation hours, Pyramid said the reduction is "consistent with the needs of businesses across the Pyramid portfolio that are continuing to stay open."

Update 6:50 a.m. 3/18: This article has been updated to reflect Wilton Mall's new hours, effective Tuesday, March 17
