Beginning Monday nine YMCA sites around Capital Region will offer childcare services for healthcare workers and first responders

The Capital District YMCA on Monday morning will begin offering childcare services to the healthcare workers and first responders at the center of society's response to the COVID-19 crisis.

Nine YMCA branch locations around the region, inlcuding at 433 State Street in Schenectady, will open at 7 a.m. Monday to offer the childcare services:

Bethlehem: 900 Delaware Ave., Delmar

Duanesburg: 221 Victoria Drive, Delanson

Glenville: 127 Droms Road, Glenville 

Greenbush: 20 Community Way, East Greenbush

Greene County: 35 Rt. 81, Hope Plaza, West Coxsackie

Guilderland: 250 Winding Brook Drive, Guilderland

Schenectady: 433 State Street, Schenectady

Southern Saratoga: 1 Wall Street, Clifton Park

Troy: 2500 21st St., Troy

Emergency health care professionals include physicians, registered nurses and nurse practicioners, physician assistants, nurses assistants, lab personnel and direct support professionals. The services will also support the families of paramedics, EMTs, police officers and firefighters.
