CLIFTON PARK - A Halfmoon woman was charged with drugged driving Saturday morning after she was found unresponsive in a car at a Clifton Park gas station, state police said.

Lana C. Dugan, 34, was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, along with misdemeanor driving while ability impaired by drugs and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Dugan is also listed with a Green Island address.

The incident happened just after 8:30 a.m. Saturday as troopers were called to the Cumberland Farms on Route 146 for an unresponsive woman sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle, state police said.

Upon waking the woman and asking her out of the vehicle, the trooper saw she appeared disoriented with impaired coordination, state police said. She soon failed sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

Dugan was found in possession of multiple hypodermic needles containing heroin residue and several glass tubes containing cocaine residue, state police said.

Dugan was processed at the state police barracks, where she refused to provide a breath or blood sample. She was released to appear in court later.
