Officers had the area taped off and they could be seen placing evidence markers around the scene.

The incident happened as city police continue to investigate two recent fatal shootings.

Fred Gentry, 48, of Schenectady, was shot and killed May 19 on Victory Avenue in the Vale neighborhood. A woman was also injured in that shooting. Then, May 23, Duane Todman, 27, of Schenectady, was shot and killed near the corner of Craig and Stanley Streets in Hamilton Hill. No arrests have been made in either homicide.
