​ALBANY — The UAlbany men’s basketball program will play at Marquette of the Big East Conference and at Minnesota of the Big Ten Conference as part of the Great Danes’ participation in the 2020 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament.

The tournament’s full schedule was released Monday.

UAlbany will play at Minnesota on Nov. 11 and at Marquette on Nov. 14 as part of the event’s campus-based games.

Then, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, the Great Danes will compete in the tournament’s “Springfield Bracket” on Nov. 21 and 22. UAlbany will play Long Island on Nov. 21, then will play either Lehigh or Quinnipiac on Nov. 22.

Participating in the tournament’s “Naismith Bracket” on Nov. 21 and 22 will be Central Florida, Marquette, Minnesota and Rhode Island.

UAlbany finished 14-18 last season.​​​
