WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: It feels very surreal to be graduating high school during a global pandemic. I never thought that I would be ending senior year from my bedroom, however I am grateful for all of my friends and family who have made the transition to online learning go smoothly.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: The most important thing that I learned is that time management and self-motivation is extremely important. Since I am not in school every day, it takes a lot of willpower to complete all of your assignments when nobody is watching. I am grateful that I had this experience because it taught me to focus more on learning and embracing what I am learning in school. Also, that my classmates are a group of strong and resilient people that will be able to conquer anything that is thrown their way.
WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: I will never forget from senior year is when the fire alarms would not stop going off before school started so a group of us went to Dunkin’ Donuts while we waited for it to be cleared.
WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL?: Having classes every day with my twin sister, Paige.
WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: Anything classic rock
BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: Becoming independent and starting a new life.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: My father
