The curious case of Stewart's beer ... and a vomiting icon?

Stewart's Shops' Mountain Brew Ice has an alcohol content of 5.9 percent, but some might say one of the icons on the beer's can had a bit too much to drink.

The beer — introduced in 2010 — is sold in single 16-ounce cans or as a six-pack.

As Seven Days, an alternative weekly newspaper, pointed out earlier Wednesday, the beer's cans include icons of various sports.

But there's one icon in particular that doesn't appear to be very sporty. (If you're asking which one, look above.)

A spokeswoman for Stewart's told Seven Days: "Our mystery man has certainly left people abuzz for some time now. People have tossed out some ideas along the way, but we have always left it to the customers' imagination. ... While we take pride in our products, we also know how to have fun."

Stewart's is right that it's been a talk for some time now. This discussion on Imgur from October 2014 is the first we could find online.

They like to have fun at Stewart's ... but can the same be said up the chain? Well, look at this tweet from Gary Dake, Stewart's president:

So let the guessing — and the fun — continue. Are you a Mountain Brew Ice drinker? Have you noticed this icon before? Is Seven Days and others wrong with their speculation?

We say they're right ... and we wanted to throw up the question to see what you think. (See what we did there?)
