Call Center: Retention Specialist

The Call Center Specialists will be responsible for making and receiving phone calls from existing customers as a part of the customer service department. Sales and Service. The purpose of this position is customer satisfaction. Also responsible or revenue growth, profit growth and additional customer growth. This position requires a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Full-Time Inside Sales Rep

Candidate should have strong sales skills and inside business-to-business sales experience. Requirements include proficiency with computers and ability to communicate effectively and clearly. Candidates should be extremely goal oriented, creative, positive, and self-motivated. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent telephone, interpersonal skills and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal orientated innovative team environment is required. Candidate must have a minimum three years’ sales experience, and knowledge of online sales.

Requirements:

–It is critical that the person in these positions thrive in a high energy environment.

–Sales candidates must possess a hunter mentality and tireless work ethic. Willingness to make a high volume of daily sales calls, including prospecting new accounts on a daily basis, is essential. A college degree is preferred.

–For the digital advertising operations & traffic coordinator, experience managing all aspects of digital ad campaign management in a sales environment is strongly preferred.

–All sales positions, as well as the advertising customer service representative position, require access to a car daily and a valid driver's license.

–A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Senior Staff Accountant

The Daily Gazette is seeking a motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our line managers and operations staff to handle day-to-day accounting and have weekly access to the CFO and support other senior management in accounting related issues. The Daily Gazette is looking for a self-starter who is able to identify issues and formulate solutions with little guidance and is able to convey accounting concepts and principles to non-accounting people.

Job Responsibilities:

–Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including period end financial closes, account and bank reconciliations, coordination and completion of annual audits, and assisting in cash management.

–Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management.

–Assist in budget preparation

–Improve accounting policies and procedures and initiate corrective actions when needed

–Oversee accounts payable and day to day cash management

Job Responsibilities:

–4 year college degree in accounting

–3+ years accounting experience

–Extensive knowledge of US GAAP

–Advanced computer skills in MS Office and accounting software systems

–Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

–CPA certification preferred but not required
