Submit a Letter to the Editor

The Daily Gazette encourages readers to share their opinions through letters to the editor. Letters are limited to 250 words, but shorter letters are preferred and will get preference for timeliness and space. All letters are subject to editing for length, style, fairness and libel. Writers are limited to one letter every 30 days.

Elections: Letters relating to upcoming elections are limited to 200 words and must be received at The Daily Gazette no later 10 days prior to the vote. The exact deadline will be posted regularly in the paper in the days preceding major elections.
