The Daily Gazette encourages readers to share their opinions on public issues through letters to the editor. Letters no longer than 200-250 words are preferred. All letters are subject to editing for length, style, fairness and libel. Writers are limited to one letter every 30 days.
Elections: Letters relating to upcoming elections must be received at The Daily Gazette no later than 10 days before the vote. We do not publish letters from candidates promoting their own positions.
