Butler takes order over the phone at the shop recently. One phone order taken was a caller from Georgia who ordered goods that will be shipped to Georgia, North Carolina and Vermont.
As floor supervisor of the sweets shop on Albany Street in Schenectady, Butler also manages personnel. “We have six or seven,” said Butler, 44, who lives in Schenectady and has worked at the store for the past three years.
