Patricia McGurn remembers finger work during her senior year at all-girl Notre Dame High School. “I used to do a lot of typing for everybody,” McGurn said. “The nuns and everybody else.” Michael Pustolka remembers meeting kids from Saratoga Springs and Amsterdam at all-boy Bishop Gibbons High School. “[Future local TV personality] Jack Aernecke came from Central Bridge,” Pustolka said. “He would get a ride to Alco and take a bus up to the school.” McGurn, Pustolka and their friends from the Catholic classes of 1963 will reminisce together on Friday, Sept. 27 at a 50th anniversary reunionat the Waters Edge Lighthouse.
