I have been with The Daily Gazette since 1985, with a focus on high school sports since 1988. Have also covered colleges, recreation sports, Empire State Games.
Graduated from Guilderland High School, Morrisville and Oswego and earned degrees in Journalism Technology and Communications.
Played football and lacrosse at Guilderland. Played baseball throughout my youth starting in the old Altamont Little League. Played for many years on Gazette softball team.
Favorite pro teams: New York Mets, Miami Dolphins, Boston Celtics, New York Rangers.
I enjoy cats, history, painting and crafting, movie comedies, all kinds of music from old country to heavy metal.
